Project Description

The Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu successfully concluded its 12th Blood Donation Program for Rotary Year 2025–2026, reaffirming its dedication to humanitarian service and community health. Held at the Radhakrishna Temple premises in Dillibazar, the program aimed to encourage voluntary blood donation and help meet the ongoing demand for safe blood.
The event was attended by Past President Arun Regmi, Past President Leelanath Sharma, Secretary Sandhya Rajbhandari, Service Projects Director Dr. Hari Krishna Baskota, club members, representatives of partner organizations, and local community leaders. Speakers highlighted the life-saving importance of regular voluntary blood donation and encouraged healthy individuals to become regular donors to support patients in need.
This event marked the successful completion of the club’s goal of organizing twelve blood donation programs during Rotary Year 2025–2026. Throughout the year, the club has actively implemented initiatives focused on healthcare, education, community development, and social welfare, reflecting Rotary’s enduring motto, “Service Above Self.”
The program was organized in collaboration with the GMPT Foundation, Kalibhakta Foundation, Sahaj Foundation, and Kalpana Foundation. The club expressed sincere gratitude to its partner organizations, volunteers, blood donors, and everyone whose support contributed to the program’s success. Certificates of appreciation were presented to all donors in recognition of their generous contribution. The Rotary Club of Dillibazar–Kathmandu reaffirmed its commitment to continuing impactful service initiatives while promoting greater awareness of voluntary blood donation under the inspiring message, “Donate Blood, Save Lives.”
