Project Description
Rotary Club of Dang launched the " Healthy Habits Promotion Program" to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent non-communicable diseases in the community on 17th July 2026 during the installation Program.
Speaking at the program, Club President Rtn. Dr. Bom B.C. highlighted the importance of preventive medicine and adopting healthy habits as effective measures to reduce the burden of disease. He stated that the initiative aligns with the health and community service goals of Rotary District 3292 DG Vishnu Bahadur Karkee and reflects the club's commitment to promoting healthier communities.
The campaign promotes eight key healthy habits, including balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management, avoiding tobacco and harmful alcohol use, maintaining good hydration, routine health check-ups, and positive mental well-being. Club members also interacted with participants, highlighting the role of individuals and families in preventing lifestyle-related diseases through healthy daily practices.
The awareness program encouraged participants to embrace simple, evidence-based healthy practices in their daily lives. The program was conducted by Club Secretary Rtn. Dr. Aashish Upreti.
