PLANTS (SAPLING) DISTRIBUTION AND SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN PROGRAM

The Rotary Club of Sainbu Bhaisepati organized a Sapling
Distribution and Environmental Signature Campaign in the
presence of the District Governor (DG), District Secretary, and
the District Environment Committee Chair of Rotary District
3292.
A total of 8,800 saplings were distributed to 44 Rotary Clubs
and E-Clubs. More than 30 species of indigenous saplings were
collected from the Seed and Crop Laboratory Center and the
Department of Forests to support the campaign.
The programme was initiated through a collective contribution
of NPR 70,000 in cash, along with in-kind and personal
contributions from Rotary members, Rotaractors, and
Interactors for the successful management of the event.
The distributed saplings were planted in community forests,
public spaces, temple premises, and private land by rotary
clubs, local communities and individual participants.
The campaign united 44 Rotary Clubs under an umbrella to
share goal of the 100,000 Tree Plantation Campaign.
Conducting the distribution programme at a single venue
helped save both time and resources while enabling the Rotary
Club of Sainbu Bhaisepati to serve as a coordinating bridge
among the participating clubs. The event strengthened
collaboration and fellowship among the clubs and marked a
significant step towards promoting environmental
sustainability. The signature campaign further demonstrated the
participants' commitment to protecting the environment and
creating a greener future.
