Project Description
In support of Rotary District 3292's one-week Tree Plantation Drive, led by District Governor Rtn. Vishnu Bahadur Karkee with the goal of planting 100,000 native trees across Nepal, the Rotary Club of Damak successfully organized a Tree Plantation Program on 26 July 2026 at its adopted school, Bhrikuti Ma. Vi., Damak-1.
The Plantation Drive was Coordinated by President Nominee Rtn. Sanju Parajuli and was jointly conducted by the RC Damak, Rotaract Club of Damak, and Interact Club of JMES, with enthusiastic participation from members of all sister organizations. More than 100 native saplings, including Siris, Mango, Litchi, Amla, and other environmentally beneficial species, were planted within the school premises.
To extend the impact beyond the event, RC Damak provided saplings to every participating Rotarian, Rotaractor and Interactor to plant at least one tree at their own home. The Child Club and Eco Club of school committed to nurturing and protecting the planted saplings, ensuring their long-term survival.
