Project Description
The Rotary Club of Damak honored journalist Dikendra Basnet with the 6th Rotary Damak Journalism Award supported by Usha Chapagain Foundation in recognition of his outstanding contribution to journalism and his consistent support in promoting Rotary's humanitarian and community service initiatives.
The award was presented during the Club's 15th Installation Ceremony, where he received a Certificate of Honour, Doshalla, and a cash prize of NRs. 10,000.
The recognition strengthens the partnership between Rotary and the media, encouraging responsible journalism that highlights positive community initiatives and inspires greater public engagement. By honouring journalists who promote service above self, Rotary Club of Damak reinforces the importance of credible media in fostering civic responsibility, community participation, and sustainable social development.
