Project Description
The Mondays of the holy month of Shrawan are considered especially sacred by Hindu devotees, who observe prayers and visit Shiva temples in large numbers to offer worship to Lord Shiva.
To mark the first Monday of Shrawan, the Rotary Club of Damak, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Damak and the Interact Club of JMES, organized a Prasad Distribution Program for devotees.
More than 100 devotees received prasad during the service project. The initiative reflected the clubs' commitment to serving the community while fostering the spirit of compassion, devotion, and fellowship. The project was warmly appreciated by the devotees and added to the sacred observance of the auspicious month of Shrawan.
The service project also received significant public recognition, as it was featured in a local newspaper and highlighted by the well-known social media portal Damak Banda, extending its reach and inspiring community participation in service-oriented initiatives.
